COMMUNITY AFFAIRS POLICY

COMMUNITY AFFAIRS POLICY G-BERTH INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD shall continue to identify with the needs and aspiration of its client and host communities in the execution of its operation. G-BERTH INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD believes that it shall not operate in isolation and therefore shall liaise with client, host communities, relevant government departments and others in order to ensure a safe and peaceful working atmosphere. G-BERTH INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD shall also ensure the building and sustenance of solid harmonious relationship with client and communities, and shall exhaust every known peaceful strategy to resolve conflict in case of any disagreement. Finally, G-BERTH INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD shall adopt established procedures to deal with community and other forms of unrest in the execution of its tasks. Every project management and CASHES departments should be guided accordingly.

SAFEGUARDING HEALTH POLICY

It is G-BERTH INT’L SERVICES Ltd policy that all activities shall be planned and executed in a manner that preserves the health of all staff and contractor staff personnel. Implications of implementing this policy are:  The health of all employees shall be monitored on a regular basis  Analysis of all accidents and sickness incidents shall be routinely performed to identify harmful operational practices and the necessary corrective actions implemented.  All workplace, accommodation and catering services areas, on the company transport and in public areas, corridors, meeting rooms and shared offices, unless otherwise agreed by the occupants of such offices, is prohibited.  The consumption of alcohol and drugs on company premises and during hours of employment is prohibited. Employees and contractor staff under the influence of alcohol or drugs whilst on duty shall be disciplined.  The company recognizes that threat of personnel from HIV and AIDS and in an effort to minimize its occurrence shall: - Conduct Seminars to improve the general awareness of staff and dependants - Ensure that all blood products used are fully tested and screened. - Offer support and counseling to staff who are HIV positive and / or develop AIDS - Not to discriminate against HIV/ AIDS victims in regards to terms and conditions of employment.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

G-BERTH INT’L SERVICES Ltd believes that our natural environment, which is of vital importance to all living things, must be protected at all times. We shall, in pursuance of our technical objectives, recognize the significance of environment by conducting our activities in such a way as to achieve maximum protection and prevention of pollution of the environment. We shall also put in place necessary measures aimed at rectifying the environment, when unavoidable damage is done. Audit, inspections and walkthroughs of work areas shall form an integral part of our routine site audits to ensure the preservation of our working environment. Environmental Impact Assessment (E.I.A) shall be conducted on as need basis. Prompt reporting, investigation and follow up of negative interference with the environment shall be effected without delay. All workers shall participate in activities aimed at developing and sustaining awareness of the need to protect working environment. The company shall ensure that it complies with relevant clients’ and governmental regulations and legislations on the environment.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL POLICY

G-BERTH INT’L SERVICES Ltd is aware of the hazardous health implications of drugs and alcohol and shall continue to discourage the consumption and abuse of drugs and alcoholic beverages by all workers. Any worker suspected to be influenced or impaired by drugs / alcohol while on duty shall be subjected to predetermined test. Necessary actions shall be taken against worker(s) confirmed to be influenced or impaired by drugs or alcohol. Relevant awareness programmes on the dangers of drugs and alcohol shall be launched and sustained from time to time, and participation by workers shall be compulsory. Blood Ratio Analysis is compulsory during pre-employment medical fitness to Work test. The company shall comply with necessary client and government regulations on drugs and alcohol.

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking of any sort is injurious to human health and an environmental hazard. Many lives are either shortened or lost yearly due to smoking. Also, many unplanned fires resulting in immeasurable losses occur during smoking. To check these dangers, Towset Energy LLC ) prohibits smoking in all work sites and public places. However, if smoking must be done it will be at well specified designated places (Smoking points). The analysis and identifications for points for no smoking signs shall be carried out at Towset Energy LLC offices and the ‘’NO SMOKING Signs’’ which must be visibly indicated and strictly adhered to. Any breach of this prohibition shall not be tolerated.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) POLICY

It is the policy of G-BERTH INT’L SERVICES Ltd to provide relevant and high quality Personal Protective Equipment (Coveralls, Safety Footwear, Hard Hats, Hand- gloves etc.), for all persons involved in her operations. G-BERTH INT’L SERVICES Ltd shall continue to enforce effective use and maintenance of available Personal Protective Equipment, carry out regular condition audits and replace defective ones when necessary. CASHES Officers and Supervisors shall continue to monitor compliance with Personal Protective Equipment rules, and to report those who violate known P.P.E. rules without delay. Store and HSE departments shall be responsible for maintaining records of Personal Protective Equipment in stock, and allocated to personnel respectively

INCIDENT REPORTING AND INVESTIGATION POLICY

G-BERTH INT’L SERVICES Ltd shall remain committed to the proactive approach to accident prevention. G-BERTH INT’L SERVICES Ltd shall ensure the use of appropriate resources, and compliance with relevant safety procedures and codes in the execution of daily tasks. But, if for any reason(s) accident occurs, such accident must be reported with dispatch through appropriate lines to relevant company, client and other agencies. Reporting sequence shall remain verbal before written report. G-BERTH INT’L SERVICES Ltd shall (depending on the nature and magnitude of incident) set appropriate panel to investigate, follow-up, evaluate and review the incident in order to identify associated causative facts, and to make recommendation against future reoccurrence. Presentation may be made, learning points of the panel highlighted and the circulation of facts of the incident effected.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH

Occupational health policies and procedures are written to prevent exposure of personnel to unnecessary risks. Understanding the potential for health risks and establishing suitable preventative measures are integral to achieving incident-free operations, especially in the following areas. Noise We employs a consistent global preventative approach as the best solution to stop noise-induced hearing loss. At our rigs, we: Perform noise surveys to clearly identify areas of potential high noise. Post high-noise signage for our employees and visitors. Conduct awareness training so that people understand the potentially debilitating consequences of high noise, both at work and at home. Mitigate high noise, eliminating or reducing it, where possible. Using administrative controls to prevent exposure to high-noise areas. Wearing hearing-protection devices.

IEMERGENCY RESPONSE POLICY

The aim and objectives of every emergency response shall be to: • Save lives of clients, host communities, Towset Energy LLC personnel and others within the vicinity. • Guard and assist the injured in such emergency situations. • Reduce damage to client or company’s resources and the environment. • Consolidate the existing cordial relationship with host communities/ clients. • Defend corporate integrity All systems resources, strategies and procedures necessary to achieve these objectives shall be well documented and coordinated. The company shall also collaborate with the community, client, government and other identified emergency response units/ bodies in other to combat such emergency situations. Reasonable attention shall be given to the identification, development and sustenance of the relevant resources needed towards the achievement of the above defined objectives. As such, all personnel shall participate fully in all activities planned towards the realization of these aims and objectives.

SECURITY POLICY

The protection of the human, material and other resources used in our daily operations shall continue to be given attention. The company shall employ the services of full time (day and night) energetic and trained men for surveillance purpose in all our sites and in transit. The services of relevant governmental armed security agents shall be used to protect company’s personnel and property, when and where necessary, to support corporate internal security arrangement. The surveillance team shall monitor movement of company’s personnel, property and other persons in and out of the company’s work area. Personnel and materials in transit shall also be provided with maximum protection, escort shall be provided for designated journeys. Corporate security emergency plans and procedures shall be strictly adhered to all times. Every worker shall participate fully in all drills and activities aimed at developing and sustaining high security consciousness. The company shall comply with relevant government and client rules and procedures on security issues.
